Dr. John Hall has been practicing periodontics in Traverse City since 1998. He is a native of Northern Michigan. After graduation from Central Michigan University in 1991 with a B.S. in Biology, he went to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Hall completed his dental degree in 1995 and then went on to a 3-year residency in periodontics also at the University of Michigan. Dr. Hall was awarded the Sigurd Ramfjord Award for excellence at the end of his periodontal residency. He is proud of the excellent reputation of the Periodontal program at the U of M. This program is well known for its clinical and research strengths. Dr. Hall occasionally lectures to the periodontal students at the University of Michigan. He enjoys working with dental students and dental assisting students interested in periodontics. A career milestone was achieved in 2005 with the awarding of the American Board of Periodontology Diplomate status to Dr. Hall. A small number of periodontists in private practice go to some lengths to distinguish themselves by going through the process of Board certification. Dr. Hall is an active member in the local component of the Michigan Dental Association, the Resort District Dental Society, The American Dental Association, the Michigan Periodontal Association, And the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Hall resides in Traverse City with his wife and five children. He enjoys fishing, hunting, fitness activities and family fun. Connie Connie is our treatment and financial coordinator.
